Full Mouth Rehabilitation of a Patient with Periodontitis
A 50-year-old patient visited “Dr. Botev” Dental Clinic for a routine examination. During the check-up, advanced periodontitis (gum disease) was diagnosed. As a result, Dr. Botev recommended thorough scaling and root planing, followed by the preparation of all teeth for zirconia-based full-arch restorations aimed at stabilization.
Multiple carious lesions were detected beneath the existing restorations, which required the fabrication of post and core buildups for some of the teeth. In the lower jaw, German dental implants (“bredent”) were placed, and after a few months, they were restored with zirconia crowns.
The final result is a harmonious combination of function and aesthetics—and a patient who can smile with confidence.
